Qustom can offer a one-stop-shop for all of your school's ICT needs.

What we can provide

  • Support for any IT related equipment and software in the school that isn't restricted by other support contracts
  • Phone support for any of the computer equipment in your school as well as any of the software you use
  • Hardware support for any computers or associated peripherals in the school

  • Regular visits to the school by the same engineer.

Regular Visits

Regular visits to the school in 4 hour slots for half-day visits, morning or afternoon, or 8 hour slots for full-day visits.

During these regular visits the engineer can:

  • Upgrade any software as required (inc. SIMS and other Capita related products)
  • Help identify and implement supplemental IT needs using resources available to the school
  • Educate staff in the school about Free Libre Open Source Software, how this can reduce the school's spending, while improving security and reliability
  • Manage users on the network for applications such as SIMS.net
  • Synchronise passwords across systems
  • Advise the school on security issues regarding computers and IT equipment
  • Implement and maintain anti-virus protection
  • Advise the school on what they can do to cut costs in relation to IT
  • Maintain current IT systems with regular health checks
  • Any other IT related tasks the engineer is permitted to carry out

Phone Support and Emergencies

Phone support covers advice on software problems, hardware troubleshooting, and other IT support related questions. In the event of an IT emergency an engineer can be provided that day to identify, assess and resolve the issues. Emergency Call-out (EC) cover can be purchased in advance for a given period.
